About The Film

Roses of my Grandmother's Garden is a deeply personal and multi- generational documentary that explores the lasting effects of trauma and displacement through themes of love, identity, and memory. The story follows Cyrus, a first-generation Iranian- American, as he seeks to understand how his family's complex past has shaped his present.
